This flagship event, starting from the Place du Mont-Blanc, offers 42 km of demanding and spectacular alpine trails, with 2540 m of positive vertical drop. Limited to 2,300 runners and reserved for seasoned trailers, the race attracts top athletes from around the world every year. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thepostrace.com\/blog\/gpx\/parcours-42km-du-marathon-du-mont-blanc-2025-en-gpx\/\">Participants traverse the iconic<\/a> <\/strong>of the Chamonix valley, with technical sections, crests, balconies, the tough climb up the aiguillette des Posettes, and a festive finish in the town center.
