Examples of personalised posters

01 · Your GPX track

It all starts with your track

From your GPX file (Strava, Garmin, Coros, Suunto) we draw the real route, not a generic preview. Every turn, every hesitation at the aid station is yours.

02 · The terrain

Every contour line is yours

We redraw the exact relief of your route: the climb that hurt, the descent that made up for it all. Your elevation becomes a topographic landscape.

03 · The paper

A sheet that becomes an object

Glossy 200 g/m² paper, printed closest to you and checked with care. It is the canvas that will carry your achievement: nothing generic, nothing mass-produced.

04 · The memory

Your photos tell the story

Finish line, summit reached, mountain hut at sunset: add the photos that tell your adventure, placed right on the map.

05 · Personalisation

Your name, your time, black on white

Name, bib number, distance, elevation, final time: every detail goes on the poster. Printed and checked with care, then shipped to you.

Personalised posters and prints from your GPS track

The Post Trace turns your GPX track into a personalised poster: topographic map of the route, exact GPS trace, elevation, souvenir photos and race details (name, bib, distance, time). Running poster, trail poster, cycling poster, hiking or road trip poster: each one is printed on glossy 200 g/m² paper as close to you as possible and sent to your door.

They immortalised their adventure

Matthias and Mathilde at the start of the Tour du Mont-Blanc, in Les Houches
Our story

The achievement is behind you. The track can stay.

It all started in Amsterdam, at the finish line of our very first marathon, run together. Matthias wanted to give Mathilde a keepsake worthy of that moment. But nothing in the shops suited him: no black and white, too little personalisation, nothing that really looked like their race. So he made it himself.

The gift was a hit. He made more for friends, in memory of their best bike trips, and the idea caught on. In 2021, we took the plunge. For more than 5 years, we have put everything into making sure every athlete is proud of the poster they hang at home. Made by athletes, for athletes.

Frequently asked questions

Everything to know before you order

Prices, formats, GPX track, delivery: answers to the questions we are asked most often.

All questions →

How much does a personalised poster cost?

A poster starts at €18 as a PDF and €20 printed in A4. Add €7 for A3, €12 for A2 and €22 for the large 50×70 cm format. 3D posters are €50, puzzles €30 and scratch-off maps €28 to €35.

Which formats and materials do you offer?

Four formats: A4, A3, A2 and 50×70 cm, on glossy 200 g paper printed closest to you. You can also choose the PDF version (from €18), received instantly so you can print it wherever you like.

How do I upload my GPX track?

On the personalised poster page or in our configurator, upload your .gpx file: your real route is drawn on the map. You then customise the colours (14 map backgrounds, 7 track colours), up to 6 lines of text, a photo, the elevation profile and up to 11 waypoints.

How do I get the GPX file of my race from Strava or Garmin?

On Strava (web version), open your activity, click the three dots “…” then “Export GPX”. On Garmin Connect, open the activity, click the gear icon then “Export to GPX”. Coros, Suunto and most GPS watches offer the same export from their app or website.

I don't have a GPX file, what can I do?

If your race is in our catalogue (marathons, half marathons, trails, GR® trails, mountain passes…), the route is already drawn: find it in the search bar, then add your name, bib number and time. Otherwise, write to us via the chat or at contact@thepostrace.com.

What are the production and delivery times?

Posters are printed closest to you and then shipped by us. The exact delivery time is shown at checkout, depending on the carrier you choose. In a hurry? Choose the PDF version, received instantly.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your address and the carrier you choose. You receive the tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Posters travel in a rigid cardboard tube.

Can I see a preview before printing?

Yes, and it's free. Mention it in the order notes and we will email you a preview before printing. You can also change your order as long as it has not been printed.

It's a gift: what if I don't have the track?

Choose the gift card: the athlete creates their own poster from their track. It is the solution when you don't know the route, or for a last-minute gift.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Payment is by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) on a 100% secure page. No need to create an account before ordering: it is created automatically when you buy.
