The New York Marathon :

The New York Marathon is one of the most legendary marathons in the world, although its hilly course does not make it a particularly fast marathon. It is part of the six World Marathon Majors (along with Boston, London, Chicago, Berlin, and Tokyo). The New York Marathon was created in 1970, and its route offers a magnificent exploration of the city. The course runs from Staten Island to Central Park, passing through world-famous neighborhoods: Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and 5th Avenue.
