Results and rankings of the UTMB 2024 Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc
The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) is one of the world’s most prestigious ultra-trail races.
Taking place around the Mont-Blanc massif, it crosses France, Italy and Switzerland over a distance of 176 km with 9900 meters of positive vertical drop.
The 2024 edition saw some remarkable performances and a few surprises.
This race is considered one of the most difficult and prestigious of the world’s ultra-trailers. The 2024 edition took place from August 26 to September 01, 2024.
In 2024, almost 10,000 runners have embarked on this sporting adventure on the UTMB and its 8 races such as the TDS,OCC (101km), CCC (86km) and PTL (296km).
In 2024, nearly 2,300 runners took part in the UTMB, the world’s biggest race.
Men’s UTMB 2024 rankings
Frenchman Vincent Bouillard surprisingly won the UTMB by completing the 176km course around the Mont Blanc Massif in 19:54:34.
In a superb performance, he also benefited from the withdrawal of the main favourites in Courmayeur.
Another Frenchman, Bapstiste Chassagne, took second place.

Women’s UTMB 2024 rankings
Katie Schide won the race with a comfortable lead and on the doorstep of the scratch top 10.
Ruth Croft and Marianne Hogan completed the podium.
The Canadian who finished the race with a broken finger.
We also note the fine 5ᵉ place of France’s Blandine L’Hirondel.
